EcoCard is one of the leading European E-wallets and offers both merchants and users the opportunity to open accounts and start making and receiving online payments in real time.

The EcoCard account is linked to a Prepaid MasterCard® card and supports, both, international payment methods, such as, credit cards plus local in-country methods, such as bank transfers in over 25 countries. In addition, funds can be withdrawn from bank account.

The EcoCard has embedded a “Person to Merchant (P2M)” functionality, which is designed to allow users to real time transfers from the customer’s E-wallet account directly to the Merchant E-wallet account. The function is available from the “My Eco” homepage under the heading “Transfer to Merchant”.

EcoCard is allowing users and merchants to fund their accounts instantly via the Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) deposit option. The EFT’s are a secure and reliable deposit option for funding the EcoCard account. There are two simple steps to setting up the EFT deposit option. EcoCard users can add and confirm their bank account and to make an instant EFT deposit they can select EFT and add the amount they would like to deposit and the funds are immediately available to purchase at one of the many EcoCard accepting merchants.

The EcoCard has just launched the ‘EcoCard Money Manager’ iPhone app. The EcoCard Money Manager app gives EcoCard users mobile access to the EcoCard payment platform, enabling customers to deposit funds, make purchases, apply and fund a Virtual Prepaid MasterCard®, and make withdrawals whilst one the move using their iPhone or iTouch. The app supports 23 currencies and allows account holders to check their real time balance and transactions and view their currency accounts in one place.
